- If your field trip is cancelled due to muddy conditions, it will be rescheduled.
- Must have an adult sponsor for every 4-5 students.

- We accept Cash, Visa, MasterCard, Check or Purchase Orders. An advance deposit is NOT required for school field trips. Money will be collected when you arrive.
Teamwork! Priceless!
Our goal is to make each field trip a hands-on learning adventure for students and an enjoyable outing for teachers. Our working farm will immerse the students in a world of exploration!

- 5 Acre Maze (with age appropriate clues) or Mini Maze
Learning at the farm is fun!
- Old-Fashioned Tractor Pulled Hayride

- A barrel train ride

- Playing on the hay

Prior to arriving at the farm:
- Please divide students and chaperons, in advance, into groups of at least one chaperon to every 5 students.
- When your group arrives, the teacher in charge of the field trip will meet briefly with a maze team member. At this time, money will be collected and wristbands will be given for the number of people paid for. Please have all money collected prior to arriving (including parents and siblings).
- You will be divided into larger groups (by class, if practical) to rotate through the farm activity stations.
- As soon as wristbands have been placed on everyone, the adventure begins!
What's for lunch?
You may bring sack lunches to eat at the farm. Please plan to bring a sheet to picnic on. Although, we have some seating, these are filled up on a first-come first serve basis.
The children work up quite a thirst running around. YOU WILL WANT TO BRING EXTRA WATER. TEACHERS, PLEASE BRING WATER JUGS OR WATER BOTTLES FOR EACH CHILD, IN ADDITION TO LUNCH DRINKS. Removing the water from the bus as you arrive will make it easy for children to get a drink between activities. Please remember, some days are really hot!
What to Wear/Bring:
- Closed Toed Shoes
- Long pants (if we haven’t had a frost, vines are about 24-30″ tall & itchy).
- Sheet or blanket to sit on (if picnicing at the farm)
- Sunscreen
- Camera
- Extra Water
Safety: This is an all outdoor activity. Please check your student’s records for any allergies to hay and/or “bee” sting allergies. If a student has an allergy, the student needs to bring appropriate medication. We will not administer or distribute medication. We do have a minor emergency first aid kit.
To make a reservation, please use Reservation Link. You will receive an email confirmation.
Our field trips feature a learning experience focused on the life cycle of corn (etc), with unique, fun, educational activities that expose children to agriculture. Many are combined with farm adventures, such as: corn maze exploration, hayrides, pumpkin patches, etc.
Hands-on learning experiences are always best when students have been prepared for what they are about to encounter and are able to then discuss what they learned afterwards. We are pleased to offer our “Classroom in the Corn” learning series to make your field trip more exciting and memorable … as well as a better learning experience.
They have been developed with activity goals, National Curriculum Standards, preparation required, materials needed, worksheets, and step-by-step instructions.
The “Classroom in the Corn” resources are protected. Upon request, when you schedule your field trip, the password will be provided.
