There’s so much to do!
Any age from two to ninety, we’ve got you covered. Jump, run, and play or just relax and let your mind return to a time when life was a little simplier.
Explore the Maze
5 Acres of tall, thick stalks. We’ll get you started and then let you go at your own pace. It usually takes about 45 minutes to an hour to solve the maze. If you walked it perfectly, you could finish in approximately 30 minutes.
Corn Stalker Haunted Attraction
Every October, Corn Stalkers from the dark underworld invade the back corner of the Mikles Family Farm haunting and harassing our guests. There is even rumor of a cannibal among them. Last year, several shoes were found in the stalks, the only remnants of our guests who didn’t survive. Will you make it out alive??? (Family fun attraction but not recommended for ages 10 and younger. A gory scene this year)
Hay Ride Fun!
Take a Hayride Always a favorite! Hop on an old-fashioned tractor pulled hayride.
Visit the Pumpkin Patch Twenty-five varieties of gorgeous, traditional and unusual pumpkins, gourds, and ornamental squash are home-grown and still on the vine. You choose and cut. It just doesn’t get any fresher than that! Kid sized pumpkins are $2 (see photo to the left). Larger pumpkins are 39 cents per pound.
See my big pumpkin!
Mini Maze Built right into the corner of the big maze. Take your little guys through the same tall, thick stalks but with just a few twists and turns.
Dark Maze (not haunted) After dark, go through the five acre maze with a glow stick ($2 for a 6″ glow stick), flashlight, or cell phone light to illuminate your path. Wow! It’s a whole new experience. It gets really dark in the country without the reflection of city lights. If the wind is blowing through the stalks, oh yeah, now that’s spooky!
Meeting farm animals is so much fun!
Introducing the Barn Yard Crew! Farm Animals! Meet your favorite farm animals. Max the jersey calf; Rexy the lamb; goats – Zoe, Wednesday, and baby goats Star, and Rosebud; Chani the miniature horse; Twix and Jewel the miniature donkeys. Sometimes our dogs, Roy & Kimi, sneak over to the maze. When they are discovered, they have their own cage right next to the other animals. Bright, colorful signs introduce the animals and offer fun facts.
Hot dogs taste better outside!
